Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive spa procedure that rejuvenates the appearance of the skin by treating sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other unwanted skin problems. This procedure uses a gentle stream of tiny particles to exfoliate the outer layer of skin, leaving fresh, younger-looking skin and a renewed appearance. Microdermabrasion may be combined with other procedures such as chemical peels or laser treatment.
During the microdermabrasion procedure, Dr. Vaniver will use a handheld device to transmit tiny crystal particles across the targeted area of aged or damaged skin to scrape away the surface layer. This skin is then suctioned away with a vacuum tool so that the fresh, healthy underlying skin remains.
This procedure is performed in the office and does not require any anesthesia to be used. There is no downtime associated with this procedure, and patients can return to work or other regular activities immediately after. You may experience mild redness for about an hour after the procedure, but this usually goes away on its own. Most patients can achieve noticeable results after a series of five to ten treatment sessions spaced one to two weeks apart.
Kinerase Pro + Therapy®
Kinerase Pro + Therapy is a line of moisturizing cosmetic products designed to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, freckles, brown spots and uneven pigmentation. Kinerase is based on a synthetic ingredient called N6-furfuryladenine, which may slow natural aging in plants. It is useful for day-to-day improvement of skin texture and appearance, for treating skin disorders such as rosacea, eczema and dermatitis, and for supplementing procedures from laser resurfacing and microdermabrasion to chemical peels and BOTOX® injections.
Not only do the products help people of all ages and skin types, they are also non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic (meaning they will not clog pores or cause an allergic reaction), causing virtually no skin irritation. At-home application of Kinerase Pro + Therapy creams and lotions are recommended each morning and evening. Results should be fully visible in three months.

BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedure in the United States. Through a series of tiny injections, BOTOX® gives you a rejuvenated look by smoothing crow's feet beside the eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal lines across the forehead, worry lines around the mouth, and muscle bands on the neck.

JUVÉDERM®
JUVÉDERM® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid - a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Dr. Vaniver prefers JUVÉDERM® injectable gel for delicate areas of enhancement, such as lips and under eyes. Treatments take approximately 1/2 hour and results last up to a year.
Radiesse®
RADIESSE® wrinkle filler is an injectable implant composed of synthetically produced smooth calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a sodium carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier. Dr. Vaniver prefers Radiesse® injections for treatment of deep lines such as nasolabial folds and Marionette lines. Because Radiesse promotes ingrowth of collagen, results may last up to 18 months.
Spider Vein Therapy
Spider veins are small, thin, blood vessels visible beneath the skin. They appear most commonly on the face and legs and may look like a series of lines, tree branches, or a spider- or web-like shape with a dark center. It is estimated that they affect nearly half of adult women in the U.S.
Spider veins are caused by a variety of factors, including heredity, pregnancy, hormones changes, weight gain, long periods of standing, and certain medications. They often appear red or blue, and because they form on the thighs, calves and ankles, many patients are bothered by the way they look. Others seek medical treatment for uncomfortable symptoms such as aching, burning, swelling and cramping. Sclerotherapy is the gold standard of therapy. Very fine needles are used to inject hypertonic saline directly into the veins. The body's reaction causes the spider veins to disappear.
